DVM Protech is a film and label manufacturer in Kundli, Sonipat, and makes every TopGuard product at its own works — from the blown film upward. That is the whole difference, and it shows up in the one thing customers actually judge a film supplier on: whether the repeat order matches the first.
TopGuard is the film and label brand of DVM Protech, a manufacturing company based at Kundli, Sonipat, Haryana, with a sales and marketing office at Wazirpur, Delhi. We make six products: in-mould labels, blow mould labels, heat transfer labels, heat transfer film, hot stamping foil and surface protection film.
As a film and label manufacturer in Kundli we run our own blown film plant in Sonipat rather than buying imported roll stock. Those six serve two quite different sets of customers. Plastic moulders decorating containers, and fabricators finishing aluminium, steel and panels. What the two have in common is that both are judged on a surface, and both lose money when that surface fails.
A large share of the film and foil sold in India is imported roll stock, relabelled and resold. It is a legitimate business and it works — until a customer needs a grade adjusted, a shade matched to last year, or an explanation of why this lot behaves differently from the last. At that point a reseller can only pass the question up the chain and wait.
Because extrusion, printing, coating, lamination and finishing all sit with one team on one site, we can develop a grade for a specific surface, hold it steady across repeat orders, and change it when a customer process changes. That is not a marketing claim; it is simply what owning the plant allows.
Amit Mittal is a first-generation entrepreneur with more than twenty years in the decor and surface solutions industry. He introduced PETLAM films and printed aluminium coils to the Indian market, and operates two manufacturing companies — DVM Protech, which makes the TopGuard range, and Kiana Decor India, which makes the TopDecor range of PETLAM, PVC decor and vacuum sublimation films.
He is also a published author, with books including The ACP Manufacturing Formula, CID and Sales Chalisa, written for people who run factories rather than for a general audience.
We recommend against approving any film on a visual sample alone. A film that looks right on a desk can still fail at your temperature, your cycle time or your storage duration.
Innovate, Design and Elevate. And in the market we serve: Sajao Bharat, Badhao Bharat — decorate India, grow India. Most of what gets decorated in this country is made in this country, and there is no good reason the film on it should be imported.
